Outburst!
Take three baritones and a bass who love to sing Barbershop, put them together and you have Outburst! Jesse Schlabach, a natural bass, is a machine programmer, and drives all the way from Manchester just to sing Tenor. Delruss Wolff, from Belleville, spends 60% his life doing carpentry, and the other 60% raising his baritone voice to sing Lead and serving as the chorus’s Associate Director. Delruss also was the chorus’s Music VP, and was elected Barbershopper of the Year for 2000 and 2003 (we haven’t figured out when or if he sleeps…). Jeff Alden, a research scientist from Ypsilanti, has sung with the chorus for fifteen years, and uses the low end of his huge baritone range to sing Bass. Tom Litow, the only baritone who actually gets to sing Baritone, is a software guy who sang classical music for so many years that he knew Beethoven, and recently decided to take on the challenges of performing close 4-part harmony in the Barbershop style. We'd love to sing for your event. Contact wolffnsons@msn.com. |
