How Do You Become a Member of the Harmonizers?

  • Do you have to be a professional musician? No.
  • Do you have to read music? No.
  • Do you want to be part of an excellent musical organization? Yes.
  • Do you want to have a lot of fun while you become a better musician? Yes.
  • Do you want to be on stage and hear a audience applaud and cheer you on? Definitely.

You've come to the right place.
    Here's how you can join!

    Attend Rehearsals
Attending several rehearsals is simply the best way to get started. We encourage you to join right in. We'll have a "guest book" of music. You can listen, sing, and join in the fun with no delay.

    Learn More About the Harmonizers
While you are attending rehearsals, there'll be opportunities to learn more about the Harmonizers, what we do, and what is expected of members. We want you to get to know us, and we want to know about you! We want every prospective member to feel welcome and at ease. If you have questions, we let you know whom you can ask and where to get more information.

    Voice Placement
After your 3rd rehearsal, and completing the chorus orientation, a member of the music team will listen to you sing with the chorus to be sure you are able to learn the music and carry your part. There's nothing to prepare for this informal audition.

    You're A Member…..Congratulations
After our secertary has helped you with the membership process, you will recieve your own set of music and part tapes. You will not only be a member of the Huron Valley Harmonizers, the Pioneer District's finest chorus, but the largest male singing organization in the world!

We meet every Tuesday night at
    Stoney Creek united Methodist Church
    Stoney Creek Road
    Ypsilanti Michigan
    7:30 PM
